Brufftopians have taken a huge task and completed it. They have started a newspaper called Weekly Brufftopian News. Without teacher guidance, they have written stories, edited their work, completed comics, and have now published their first digital edition.
In Bowman, students are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by excellent teachers. One particular teacher who is new to the building is doing fabulous work in math. Mrs. Roof is her name and numbers are her game!

Dear Parents, In Social Studies, we are studying immigration into the United States. Although the curriculum is rich and flooded with great examples, one major piece is missing: personal stories. We know there are important experiences to learn from while we study the unit.
Parents, Students in Brufftopia will be completing Anticipated Book Trailers. What does that mean? Students will find a book they haven’t read yet. Students will explain what they are looking forward to reading. Students will record a video or write an essay about the book they can’t wait to read.
