We are nearing the end of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. As Harry ends his fifth year at Hogwarts, we have discussed a range of topics. Isolation Trust your friends. Tell the truth. Have integrity. Stand up to bullies. Treat everyone with respect.
Friday afternoon, Mrs. Russell was our guest teacher for the Harry Potter Book Club. We debated Harry’s isolation at the beginning of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. We continued to share ideas about Harry and his loneliness. We also talked from the point-of-view of Hogwarts students.
