The lunch ladies work hard to make sure lunch every day tastes good. They make sure it is good by making it and tasting it.. They do it by delivery, preparation, and cooking!
The lunch ladies do this in there room near the cafeteria. On Monday they look back at the orders to figure out how much ingredients to get. Then it comes.
DELIVERY!
Then they prepare it all!
“I get to school at 6am,” Cathy Ost says.
As you can see that is early so it is a lot of work! The job is hard, you have to be there at 6:00am, and you have to make food for every person on a daily basis.
They cut everything up and put it into plastic containers.
PREPARATION!
Then they cook it like the pizza from all the ingredients.
“It’s all made from scratch except for the mashed potatoes,” Cathy Ost says.
