Like a well oiled machine, math stations are off and running. If you were to take a peak into the classroom from 1-2pm, you’d see Brufftopians hard at work in their math stations.
Math Stations
- Hard at work on the rug usually consists of reteaching and challenge work with me.
- Students working at the half moon table have opportunities to apply their skills with math games.
- Working at the technology station allows students to do Fastt Math or show their “process” with Explain Everything! on the iPads.
- Students completing their work at the polygon table are working towards mastery on math concepts from previous lessons.
- For the students who are doing deskwork, they have flexibility to start working on what they need most. At times that may mean students work towards completing previous uncompleted work from stations. Other times students are working on skills they need more practice and repetition with.
