Friday afternoon, Mrs. Russell was our guest teacher for the Harry Potter Book Club. We debated Harry’s isolation at the beginning of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. We continued to share ideas about Harry and his loneliness. We also talked from the point-of-view of Hogwarts students.

This past week The Harry Potter Book Club talked about Mad-Eye Moody practicing the Unforgivable Curses on students. The curses have had an incredible impact on the students. Mrs. Russell and I were incredibly impressed to hear thoughtful responses. We also talked about fame and it’s effect on relationships.
