We Need Parent Volunteers for the Student Bookcases

Student Written Post

This year, Friday, January 18th, the students in the class will put their pictures on the bookcase. In Brufftopia, this has been a tradition for six years. Every year, students bring in pictures of themselves. They paste them on the bookcases using Modge Podge that Mr. Bruff supplies.

The activity will be taking place in Mr. Bruff’s class. Fourth graders and parent volunteers will be sticking pictures on bookcases. Hope you have fun.

Students will take Modge Podge and paste it to the spot where they want their picture. Then they will place their picture down. Finally, they will put another layer of Modge Podge down if they want their picture to stay put.

Dear Parents,

This Friday, January 18th, Brufftopians will continue a class tradition. We will glue pictures to the bookcase. In order to do that, I would like each student to bring in at least 2 pictures of themselves to be glued on to the bookcase. Pictures can include your child with their family or your child doing an activity they enjoy. The key to each picture is, your child MUST be in the picture.

Pictures will need to be in school, Wednesday, January 16th. If you are interested in volunteering your time to assist students, please email me (cbruff@lexingtonma.org).
