Students all across 4th grade came to Brufftopia to take part in the Harry Potter Book Club. Students wore their Hogwarts regalia, shared their favorite parts of the assigned reading, and asked questions to deepen their thinking.

Mr. Kane lead the Harry Potter Book Club. He posed the questions: What is a Muggle? Is Harry Potter a muggle since he was raised by them? How is Harry Potter’s fame going to impact him? Are there any deeper reasons (other than family) why Harry was sent to live with the Dursley’s? What do wizards and witches think of Muggles?

Session 2 Next Week

Session 2 will be next Friday, October 13th. Students will need to read chapters 6, 7, 8, & 9. Stay tuned to find out who our special guest educator leading the book group will be. Finally, keep in mind all we discussed at our last book group meeting.
